Fast TCM Test

If your Allison 4000 series, 3000 series or 1000/2000 is acting up, the TCM is often the culprit.

Here’s how to check:

  • Look for burnt smell or corrosion on connectors
  • Power on and check for shift pad response
  • Scan for codes (J1939 or Allison DOC)
  • Swap with known-good TCM if possible

We sell rebuilt, tested TCMs. No guesswork, no wait.

What You Can Do Before You Call a Shop

  • Check and clean all grounds and power connections
  • Verify battery voltage during crank and run

When to Rebuild vs Replace

If your transmission:

  • Has high miles + metal in the pan
  • Slips or loses gear engagement
  • Repeatedly codes the same solenoid/valve issue

…it may be  time to rebuild or swap in a known-good unit.

We offer full rebuilds, reman units , and hard-to-find components.

The Bottom Line
