Description
Benchmade 273FE-2 Mini Adamas OD Green G10 Drop-point
The Benchmade 273FE-2 Mini Adamas® is engineered for users who prioritize strength, reliability, and control over lightweight minimalism. It is a scaled-down version of the full-size Adamas platform, but it retains the same “built-to-work” DNA that defines the series.
At the core of this knife is CPM-CruWear tool steel, known for its exceptional toughness and wear resistance. Unlike more brittle high-hardness stainless steels, CruWear is designed to absorb abuse—making it ideal for cutting tasks that involve torque, prying resistance, and unpredictable field conditions. It holds an edge well, but its real advantage is how difficult it is to damage.
The drop-point blade provides a versatile profile for slicing, controlled piercing, and utility tasks. Combined with a thick spine and robust geometry, the blade is clearly designed for strength first, precision second.
The handle uses OD Green G10 scales over full stainless steel liners, giving the Mini Adamas a rock-solid feel in hand. It is intentionally dense and confidence-inspiring—this is not a lightweight EDC knife, but a compact tool that feels closer to a fixed blade in rigidity.
Benchmade’s AXIS® lock keeps deployment smooth and secure under load. It’s ambidextrous, highly fidget-friendly, and widely regarded as one of the most durable locking mechanisms in production folding knives.
In daily carry, the Mini Adamas sits in a very specific category: it is not the lightest, not the thinnest, and not trying to disappear in your pocket. Instead, it is designed for users who want a knife that will not fail under stress—whether that’s field work, outdoor use, tactical carry, or general hard-use environments.
If the Bugout is a precision EDC scalpel, the Mini Adamas is a compact working tool that behaves more like a fixed blade disguised as a folder.
