Benchmade 15533 Mini Taggedout® | Orange Grivory®

The Benchmade 15533 Mini Taggedout is designed for users who want a purpose-built hunting knife in an even more compact and lightweight form factor. It takes the core Taggedout concept and scales it down for hunters, backpackers, and outdoor users who prioritize minimal carry weight without losing functional cutting performance in the field.

The blade is made from CPM-154 stainless steel, a refined powder metallurgy steel known for its balance of corrosion resistance, edge stability, and ease of sharpening. It is particularly well suited for outdoor environments where maintenance simplicity and reliability matter. The clip-point profile enhances precision control, making it especially effective for field dressing, trimming, and detailed cutting tasks. Benchmade’s SelectEdge sharpening further improves cutting efficiency by optimizing edge geometry for clean, consistent slicing performance.

The handle is constructed from orange Grivory, a lightweight reinforced polymer that keeps overall weight extremely low while maintaining sufficient strength for outdoor use. The high-visibility orange color improves recoverability in field conditions, reducing the chance of misplacement in grass, leaves, or low-light environments. The textured surface enhances grip security, especially when wet or cold conditions are present.

The AXIS lock system provides ambidextrous operation, secure blade lockup, and smooth one-handed deployment. It is designed for repeated use in outdoor environments and maintains consistent reliability under varying conditions.

In practical application, the Mini Taggedout is optimized for hunters and outdoor users who need a dedicated cutting tool that performs efficiently without adding bulk or weight to their gear. It excels in field dressing, food preparation, rope and material cutting, and general camp utility tasks.

At the same time, its compact size and light weight make it suitable as a secondary everyday carry knife for users who want a minimal, highly capable cutting tool that can transition between outdoor and daily environments without noticeable carry burden.

The 15533 Mini Taggedout emphasizes ultralight performance and field utility, delivering a focused hunting and outdoor knife experience in a highly portable package.
